Mathis Pictures

Sorry, these are unedited on the CD they gave me and I don't know how to fix, so ignore the uncropped and 1 sideways image!

As Landon turns 6 months old we had our first family pictures made. Amazingly, the session went well and we were all still happy leaving the studio! Landon is 6 months old here, and happy as a clam! Lawson is 3 1/2 here. They are both 2 very special boys, and we are lucky parents to have them both!!

Landon's Baptism and Father's Day

Due to scheduling difficulties and the fact that Landon was about to outgrow our baptism gown, we baptized him on Father's Day. Since our friends would all be celebrating with their families that day, we only had our immediate family. It was simple, but still a special day. We had a breakfast after the service at our house to celebrate father's day and Landon's special day. I didn't get to focus on taking pics afterward like I would've liked since we were hosting at our house! A great reason to do things like this in other places!!!

Early June

Thanks Addie, for letting me use this, I like it better than mine!!

I'm struggling, but doing my best to document Landon's first year like I did for Lawson. It is simply FLYING by!! At this point he was starting to sit, but wobbly. He didn't perfect sitting until July, but still has random falls backward. What has also been striking this summer is the way taht my 2 are playing together. Lawson brings toys to him and will say, "Hey, buddy, you want that?" Another favorite line is, "Hey, buddy, we're going to(insert here whatever we are planning that day). I love it, I will be the luckiesst mom in town if Lawson continues to be as good of a big brother as he is now!!

Late May

These are just a few pics to show out little one's fun toward the end of May. Landon turned 5 months old and started rolling over. Both Lawson and Landon are so much fun, and starting to love to play together. I love the pic of Lawson building the tower for Landon. You can guess who knocked it over! Excuse the pink bumbo, I think I just need one pink thing! Ha!

2 yr old end of year program

It's kind of sad that our little boy is "graduating" from 2 yr old and moving to the three year old class! It was really sad that when I saw the older ones do their parts they weren't nearly as cute and adorable as the 2s! Lawson had a good time with this program and really got into it. They all wore the alligator hats and did the 3 Little Monkeys Hanging in the Tree song. I laughed till I cried at Lawson because he was so into it!

Mothers Day 2010

Wow! What a lucky Mommy I am this mother's day! I've got the 2 sweetest little boys in town! This was the first year that Lawson was in school on mother's day so I got my first little handmade card from school. It was the best gift ever! They also had Muffins for mom this week and I enjoyed spending time in Lawson's classroom with the other mommies! Can't wait for many more!

Hilton Head

In April the boys and I took a trip to Hilton Head with my parents and Aunt Mel. We all had a great time. This was Landon's first beach trip, but he wasn't too impressed with the beach. Lawson, on the other hand, had a great time. The sand has started to really impress him. Here, he's showing you some of his handiwork! Landon was almost 4 months in these pics, so I'll just mark here that at 4 months he had great control of head neck and trunk, but couldn't quite get roll all the way over. (Preview: he did this at 5 months!)
