Halloween Carnival

Lawson enjoyed the festivities at our church Halloween carnival. He had a great time doing the activities with one of his older church friends, Logan.

Baby Mathis

We are looking forward to welcoming a second baby boy Mathis into our family. We reconfirmed his gender today with 3d ultrasound, you can see there's no doubt!! I think you can tell he will look like Lawson, at least by nose and lips! His name will be Riley Landon. We are anxiously(but not too anxiously!) awaiting his arrival!

Happy Birthday Addie

Again, we're way late here, but on Oct 25, we celebrated our friend, Addie Kate's birthday. She had a fun party at Harmon's tree farm where the kids went on a hayride and got some pumpkins from the patch. We can hardly believe little Addie's already 2! I remember her origninal "birthday" like it was yesterday!

Aunt Mel and Uncle Byrd's wedding

This is way late, but on October 24, we celebrated with them as Melanie and "Byrd" got married. It was a special day and we were very lucky to share it with them. Our little ringbearer did just as he was supposed to, except talking through the whole ceremony! He danced it up at the reception and was dazzled by the lights!

State Fair

Lawson had a great time at the fair this year. Since he's taller now, he qualified for more rides, even some that looked scary to me! After he got on one that we thought was too rough, we started watching them before he got on! He also loves the animals, he got to pet a baby cow and ride a pony. What more could a boy want? Daddy also won him some prizes, you can see in one of these he's surrounded by them!

Boo at the Zoo

A couple of weeks before Halloween, we took Lawson to Boo at the Zoo. We took advantage of the early one, b/c we had some busy days ahead! Lawson loved it of course, and wanted "more candy."

Lawson took a trip to an apple orchard and pumpkin patch to pick our own! He loved it!
