A couple of weeks ago, we went to Sophie's 1st birthday party. She's such a sweet little girl, we are so happy to have her as a friend! She and Lawson have become such good buddies, he was definitely looking forward to it! He even sang "Happy Birthday, Dear Sophie" all the way there!

Lawson had a great time at the funfest this year. Now that he's older he's enjoying rides and activities so much more. It was at the park this year so he was able to play there too!

First day of Preschool

Today was Lawson's first day of school. He was very excited to go. He kept saying, "lots of fun!" When I picked him up, he was a super happy boy, and his teacher said he was happy and playful the whole time! He even got to paint, which I don't let him do at home. He has also started the 2 yr old sunday school class which he asks to go to more than once a week. His favorite thing there is "Jesus loves me!" I haven't gotten those pics off my phone yet!

Since I know our pool days are numbered, I tried to get a few more pool pics. He has been swimming well with his "froggy." He of course, wouldn't let me get a good pic of him swimming this day.

The watermelon is one that volunteered in our back yard. I finally let him pick it, and it was actually great!
